Let’s do some math
Imagine you’re giving a presentation. Any kind of presentation.
For some reason you didn’t prepare well. As a result, during your talk, you’re searching for words, getting lost in your slides, and trying to somehow get your message across. You finish your talk, and there’s an awkward pause as the audience clearly didn’t get your point.
So what happened?
Puf 💨
10 x 20 = 200 minutes of other people’s lives—gone, just like that 😬.
What can you do instead?
Put some effort into your presentation and try to give your audience something of value—knowledge, motivation, inspiration, entertainment, or a little bit of everything. This way, everyone wins: your audience gets a new, positive experience, and you, at the very least, get the satisfaction of making somebody’s day better 😊.
