One of my favourite things about science conferences?
You never know whether you’ll end up discussing how to make the world a better place…
or perfecting your dance moves with the cutest attendee in the room.
Sometimes it’s both ❤️.
Back in September, I attended the CESPC-10 conference, where we talked about how to use plasma to do good things — from improving seed germination to tackling cancer.
I presented the work we do at NIB, in collaboration with IJS, on the potential of our SuperPlasma technology for water decontamination, with a focus on virus inactivation.
I showed how our technology can inactivate viruses in the matter of minutes in different types of water from tap water to even wastewater. With that we have shown strong potential for this technology to be used as an environmentally friendly tool.
It was great seeing plasma enthusiasts and their progress again. Keep doing great work and hope to see you again in two years!
Thank you, Dane, for the photos and Tomislava for providing the best dance partner 😊.
