Sometimes you teach, and sometimes you do!
In February, I did! I participated in two public speaking events.
The first was The First Slovenian-Indian Day of Science and Innovation, aimed at fostering collaboration between the two countries (https://video.arnes.si/watch/m0vvjn9fgvl4).
The second was the 15th International Symposium of Chemical Engineers (SMLKI), where I had the honor of being among the invited speakers. At both events, I presented our recently patented device for water decontamination, a product of fruitful collaboration between NIB, IJS, and the Faculty for Mechanical Engineering at UL, with a particular focus on virus inactivation.
The feedback from attendees from both events, was quite positive including the one from Monika Šabić Runjavec (thank you Monika 😊):
“Arijana’s presentation at the XV. Meeting of Young Chemical Engineers at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology was a rare opportunity for students and young professionals to experience a unique presentation performance. The ability to elegantly and simply communicate complex research is an outstanding skill that caught the audience’s eye and interest, resulting in inspiration for new scientific adventures.”
